This explains why I love being underwater so much. If I could choose any super power, it would be to breathe and see underwater

Honestly i would love to just hang out somewhere where the environment is similar to the one in a womb for about a week. To just listen to heartbeat, relax without having anything to worry about. To just sleep. Or think about anything. I'm so tired

This is why I love standing by rivers and waterfalls. The look and sound of water flowing is soothing and relaxing to me!

My third baby kept getting into the breech position to snuggle up to my placenta. Everytime we did an ultrasound she would be snuggled up to it and the US tech said she likely felt my heartbeat through the placenta and liked it

I went to an organ concert at about 34 weeks, which got them hopping, and at a violin concert at 36 weeks they were moving so much my husband and I were trying not to giggle at how much they were visibly dancing. I spent the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy seeing what music they would respond to and Bartok's Roumanian Dances continues to be a favourite for one of them at 18 months.

My teacher told me a story of how she would play classical calming music during all of her pregnancies. After birth, she would play this music during calm or nap times, and they would automatically calm and melo out. She said even years later she can play it this music in the house and the same effects.

When I was pregnant with my son, I worked in an office, and played classical music on the radio all day. My son was born with perfect pitch, and learned to play the violin very well. I really believe it was because of the music he heard while developing. I didn't set out to influence him, I just loved the music.

I knew my baby could hear around 28 weeks gestation. I accidentally dropped a pot lid on the counter, and she jumped. I dropped it again on purpose to see if the jump was just a fluke. It wasn't. She could definitely hear! I didn't do it again, as the sound was not pleasant for either of us.

Something I thought about often was if "dad" was gone often working, even 9-5, mom could play soothing recordings of him reading to their unborn child so the baby was as accustomed to "dad's" voice as it was accustomed to mom's voice when s/he was born.😻😻

Everyone else: “That explains why I love being underwater and water so much!”
Me: “That explains why I love white noise so much and need it to sleep…”

It's sounds like underwater bubbles and bubbling sounds. You hear this when you are underwater or just listening to the sound or watching it on tv while the volume sound is high enough.

I've got a special song for both my girls which i started singing to them at 20 weekd and currently pregnant with baby no.3 who I'm figuring out a song for. I'm a HLTA in Performing Arts so it's hard when you do theatre productions and teach singing 😅
