I worked at 2 factories One of them payed exactly the same for men and women. Men had to learn the same things that women + men also had to lift heavy stuff. So basically men did more type of work than women and still get the same money, not a little more. Also the lifting part was the starting and finishing process so while the men were lifting the heavy stuff the women had nothing to do but using their phones. But there is a thing. Once a very weak man came to the factory who couldn't lift this heavy thing and once a very strong women came who was able to lift. So in my opinion in this case the strong woman should get a little more money than the weak man. But since we are talking about averages yes, an average man can lif it and deserves a little more money than an average woman but there are expections. The other factory payed a little more for men because of these reasons. Men can be placed to other working spots if it was needed (because the people at that spot were ill or on a day off) bu the women cant because tehy cant lift heavy things.

And this "tampon tax" yes women "need to" (it is not actually a need you can survive without it but let's say need because nobody wants to walk with bloody legs) buy tampons but the average man NEEDS more calories to SUIRVIVE than the average woman. So the average man has to buy more food...
