To all the people worried about math when it comes to nursing, don’t! I have been diagnosed with an actual learning deficiency in math! But I’m not gonna let it hold me back from going for my dream after HS.

I believe I have dyscalculia. I've always been super terrible in math, it's embarrassing. I wanna get into nursing but I feel like that will hinder me from being a nurse

I am in the middle of a college precalculus class and it is kicking my ass. I study all the damn time and I can't pass a quiz or an exam to save my life. I'm so frustrated and I don't know what to do.

Thank you so much for sharing and the encouragement! I'm struggling with algebra right now but getting better at remembering all the skills. I needed this encouragement because I was getting fearful that I wouldn't be able to move forward if I was not a A+ student in my class. I feel like once I have the repetition in what I would need to do only then I will succeed. But unfortunately algebra as so many things that I feel like I don't even need. And It is so hard at times. But I'm pushing through and one step closer to my goal.

I am studying for the teas entrance exam and the math sucks. I have a low percentage in the math section. I feel so discouraged and I don’t want to be a nurse for that reason.

This is one of the reason why I stir away from RN. I chose RT OVER RN, now I am on my program, made me reaLized that we have may as well like ventilation. I was like, if I am going hard on memorizing formulas for RT ventilation, why can't I do this for RN? Also, for RN WHAT are the math class when you are in the program? Aside from the dosage formula?
