Would have liked to see how you went from undocumented to US citizen. The process and how and on what grounds your application was approved.

OK, I really think this is a good thing but something needs to be clarified. I AM NOT AN IMMIGRANT! My family has been here for generations, but yes my ancestors were immigrants. Which is why it would be hypocritical of me to say they shouldn't be able to do the same.

As an American born citizen, I cannot even begin to understand how difficult it is to get citizenship.

My parents waited for 7-8 years to get citizenships. US needs to expedite this process

Ana, I like to welcome you to the land of opportunities and free. US will be glad to have hard working immigrants...I mean citizens like you.

Americans love immigrants. We are all immigrants. Americans do not want people who wave the Mexican flag. or who refuse to speak English, or huddle in their own groups refusing to assimilate. American citizenship is unlike citizenship anywhere else, but to be an American, you MUST put this country before all others. You must love the people, you must speak the language, you must assimilate. Work to better your family and speak English.

Damn I wanna be a citizen too already. I hate living in constant fear of getting deported. I can't even sleep at night sometimes cause I keep thinking cops gonna bust through my door any second and ship me back.

every human being does not own the planet or land they lived on, would it be silly if you're a human and have to sign up and document to make sure that you are a human being?

Hopefully one day I become a legal citizen. I was brought to the U.S at 1 and a half years old. Never been to Mexico and I’m here in the United States in college, getting my bachelors degree in engineering :)

It is very difficult and long process. I am combat disabled veteran with 10yrs active duty. The interviewer for process of naturalization failed me on two questions I didn't completely explained bc I didn't know. She kept looking at the picture of her son in navy dress blues and said I'm passing you bc my son is in the navy.

I didn't ask WHY she became an American. I asked HOW to go from a ILLEGAL to LEGAL citizen. A video I watched before this said that it was/is not possible (there is no process is what it said, it unfortunately did not say much else) I want to know if there is a national process not a state by state case.

Congrats 🙌👊🏽 My mom is becoming a citizen in the us this year. My dad was born here, but my mom came here illegally, she's learning English and studying everything of America. God bless everyone who still have to make it through the fear of deportation.
