I’m going to try this over the weekend. Ours is throwing this code. It actually turned on for 5 secs, then threw the code again. We’ve had it for almost 2 years, this is the first time we’ve had issues. It’s literally been outside in the entire time and -22 degrees weather.

This was super helpful—saved me a bunch of time and frustration. Thanks!

A trick I've learned living in Ontario and for spring start up is to fill the tub to the absolute minimum required to circulate/heat water. Use a combo of water from the hose and heated/hot water. If you can hook up to an inside tap, even better but I used about 15x 20-30qt pots of hot water from the tap. This got the base water up to 50F/10C. Error code went away and proceed to run heat cycle. Once the tub water temp gets above ~65F, I top up with garden hose. This seems to help as early spring in my area has city water from the hose around 42F.

That sounds haunts me lol😅 once you figure it out though you'll know your spa well. I moved and seems like learning it all over again

Yes all good responses and good video thanks to all.
If anyone reads this if the filter cover isn't completely flush with the spa, will that cause leakage into the main blow up! Thank again

How do I do this without dipping my hand into almost freezing water? I'm worried it's going to freeze and I can't activate the heating system. You would think it would be a bit more "fail safe" than this. I have an issue where if I dip my hand in this water it will hurt to me like dipping your hand into water at like 175F.

So the night that happened I didn’t want to try draining it so I turned it off and prayed it would freeze solid but it did and water was leaking out of the pump housing. Does that mean it’s toast? Anyone..TIA

I live in Florida but it keeps doing this for me and it hasn’t gotten below 60 outside yet

help what if the information turned on when we were not nearby for 24 hours at that time it was quite cold because -3 at night, when I came to the jacuzzi there was this error and it was beeping loudly after several unsuccessful attempts it finally turned on for 20 minutes showing 3 degrees and now I still have error e3 and it does not want to start to heat will it be a good idea to bring the pump home for a while? I need help now because I do not know what to do and it goes -6 at night

I managed to turn my back on by using my hairdryer. I turned on the heat section and gently warmed up all the pipes and the main's unit side walls as it has a sensor inside, which measures the ambient temperature, hence, the error kicks in. It was a 10 minutes job (of course I dressed up warm). Not sure in countries with even lower temperatures than the UK it's worth wrapping it up in a warm blanket for some time 😅😂..well at least this is my logical thinking to trick the sensor..no hard engineering here 😅😊 Good luck all ❤

I am assuming that ours is too hot rather than too cold. Do we need to wait until it cools down to use? Do we have to reset anything?

It’s a hot day outside, the water is 98 and the filter is brand new. What else is going on bc I noticed it doesn’t work with a filter on but only with it off

This sucks
I cant set the spa up because its too cold outside
I cant warm the spa up with the heater because i cant set the spa up
if the spa was running it wouldnt be too cold
but I cant set the spa up because its too cold outside
I know for a fact and experience this will RUN fine when its single digits outside, but thats after its all warm
I now have to remove the wiring I routed through my wall just to bring it inside for a while

So, if it's too cold outside it stops working because it's too cold? That's not very useful for a hot tub. I now have to worry about the water in the pump freezing, because the damn thing shut off in the middle of the night and the water temperature is now in the 40s and I can't get it to come back on and stay on to heat back up...

I live in Florida and it’s 95 out, I’m
Getting that error code. What else could it be?

Ahh yes, because I want to use my hot tub when it's 100 degrees outside not in the winter. What a bad design.

Sooo.. if I may.. The bungs to stop water from bellowing out of the tub go on the INSIDE of the tub, they will not work outside it!!! This took a little while to learn (lost about a gallon of water!!) but next time, I KNOW!!! 🫣😂
