Kattan used to frequently come to Bainbridge island when I was younger and nobody ever even tried talking to him. He had a reputation for being rude to people with a greater than thou attitude

It should be Chevy chase vs everyone. Dude doesn’t burn bridges. He nukes them.

On the John Belushi hating on women… Reportedly the only woman he did respect was Gilda Radner. They had worked together at Second City and National Lampoons before SNL and he really admired her. As for Jane Curtain, yes he was dismissive of her but according to Belushi’s widow he was watching SNL after he left and watched a Jane Curtain sketch and apparently said he was wrong about her. Maybe if he had lived longer he might’ve reconciled with Jane and apologized.

To be fair, EVERYONE has issues with Chevy Chase.

That David Spade joke genuinely made me laugh. Also, I enjoyed Vampire in Brooklyn, but that was still a funny joke.

Tracey Morgan was right, its simply unprofessional for Jimmy or any actor to constantly fuck up the scene when others are trying to do their job right

Tracey took his dislike of “breaking” and it became a fun gag on an episode of 30 Rock, where they talk about how cheap it is

It seems like the feud between Chase and Murray was basically two prickly people dealing with each other.

Eddie Murphys triumphant return to
“Hello everybody.”
*claps for 2mins*
“I’m Eddie Murphy.”
*cheering for 2mins*
“We will be right back after these commercials.”
*more clapping*

everyone watch Jim Breuer’s story about Kattan and Norm Macdonald behind the scenes of the Twilight Zone sketch. I die laughing every time.

I feel like Mike's fear of being outshone by Carvey is a compliment, a back handed one, but a compliment.

The Will/Chris and Mike/Dana feuds shocked me because they seemed like really good friends.

Chris Kattan's name *keeps coming up* . Why is that? OH! Difficult to work with. Got it!
That's a shame cuz Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey) were *AMAZING* together!
Party on, dudes!
People forget that Chevy Chase, by choice, was ONLY there for Season 1 and then wanted out to pursue movies. Bill Murray, thankfully, stayed much longer and became more endearing to his loyal fans worldwide.

Chevy Chase has a notorious reputation for being a colossal jerk. A lot of people in the biz hate him.

Says a lot about Chris Kattan that he's on 3 times. But more could have been said about Chase, as his behavior has gotten him booted from hosting the show. I always did think Eddie's grudge against David Spade was a bit much -- Spade's character on the Hollywood Minute was a smarmy jerk, a goof on news reporters who get an attitude that isn't really deserved and then rip on people more famous than them. (For example, I remember a reporter having that same kind of attitude when Sam Kinison died, with her having an attitude while reporting it, being smug about the fact that Kinison was killed by a drunk driver after Sam having substance abuse issues.) It seems like Eddie wasn't watching and just saw that clip -- either that or he has no sense of humor when it comes to himself. Also, how about Norm MacDonald vs. NBC that led to him getting kicked off the Weekend Update segment for continuing to talk about OJ?
