“General Feature Format (GFF) is a tab-delimited text file that holds information any and every feature that can be applied to a nucleic acid or protein sequence. Everything from CDS, microRNAs, binding domains, ORFs, and more can be handled by this format.

In this video, I just want to have a quick look into the structure of the GFF3 format and see if there I can find anything interesting to talk about it next time.

thank you ! I have a question though. Is GFF or FNA file from Prokka suitable to use as input in antiSMASH ? if so, how to avoid having the clusters sepearated by contig in the output. Thank you once again
