The Craft Supplies USA® Layout Template is useful for laying out bowls or platters. The circular lines eliminate trial and error in selecting for figure or color in the wood, and avoiding defects. The layout template will help the turner find the desired or possible size in a minimum of time.

The clear plastic allows one to visually identify choice areas of the stock, speeding up the selection process, and often conserving material. Made from 1/16" flexible plastic with permanent numbers and lines, one only needs to insert a nail through the center hole, a pencil in the diameter hole, and pivot the layout template around the center point to mark the cutting lines. Made in USA.

These are awesome. one thing I have done to make them easier is to put the diameter number on all 4 axis to identify them more easily when finding centers.
