Sorry to interrupt you but this is really not the real story of karna's armor. In Mahabharat krishna goes to karna and ask karna to give his unpearceable armour called the 'kundal kavach' and to fullfill his duty karna gave it to krishna and krishna did this to help arjun win.

Through out the story different people sabotaged karn. It took combined might of a lot of people to defeat karn. Every krishna knew they cant beat karn without cheating. So they did everything is their power and justified it in name of dharam.

Also Karna never stood a chance against Krishna and Arjuna he would be fighting meaningless even after Duryodhana gets killed. So it's a boon in disguise of trickery.
