I was fascinated by this piece when I was a child. My 2nd grade teacher introduced our class to it. I haven't heard it in close to 50 years now but I just woke up from a nap with this bouncing around in my head.

60 years ago l had piano lessons for a short period (until my father lost our piano gambling!) My teacher guessed that l was memorizing the music. To this day it looks like a terrifying array of indiscriminate, unreadable black dots! l can only relate to those who suffer from dyslexia! (Had to go to spell check for that one!) 😂 Just adore Debussy.

Love this song. That middle section with the short 3 staccato notes is Debussy mocking Wagner (whom he disliked).

One my personal favorite pieces of Debussy, it's just such a charming little tune with some simple, yet sweet harmonics at work. Brilliant performance Mr. Barton, keep up the awesome work in 2018.

This piece was used the Atari PC game mousetrap! I played the heck out of that game and I’ve always remembered the time but never knew it was Debussy until Spotify played this for me and I dropped dead on my tracks. An amazing piece and much better in the piano than in 8-bit sound!!
