Honestly I’ve been using this the past week and I’ve grinded out a big part of my air tree, I only have 4 more vehicles until I can research the Gripen, but my play style is just completely limited to bomb runs, then running back to base to re arm and re fuel.

I think to grind with, it’s perfectly serviceable and with premium accounts you can do easily 12k every 5-10 minutes. But I feel as a premium it’s just so dull, nothing new about it, and it’s a complete clubbing when you face any sort of up tier, which basically until this new update was every game

11.3 is in a strange position with the 3 UK F4 models, f104s.asa, the tech tree tornados, some mig 23s, jh7, etc. The variety of planes at that BR is weird.

As someone who has had it for a while (I got it when it came out) it's not that bad the missiles only have 10km range if you want to hit things but still 1 bomb point and 5 kills is what I average in 12.0 or 12.3 lobby's not to mention when I get a down their and can bully a-10's and F-5's

With that being said I still would not recommend buying it their are better premium phantom for better tech trees

I have this jet when I use my sky flash I can’t lock onto someone I want it randomly locks on to someone I don’t want it to how do I lock onto someone I want to like normal missiles

Even doe it's a bit old video, they somehow made this plane even worse.

I haven't touched it since they made him 12.0 BR even doe I have like half way to Gripen done, I'm just too simply to say scared to remind me, my 35$ that I spend on it which is roughly in my country like a 6 hours of work.

Probably the AIM-9L could help a bit this plane to not be just a flying brick.
Sadly Gajin dosen't care much about this type of planes as they released just newer and better premiums.

This plane is just not enjoyable, it should have just MM treatment of getting only 0.3 BR higher/Lower to make it somewhat playable.

its bad in terms of pvp if its in an uptier but its weaponry isnt bad at all for pvp in its own tier, plus its a good grinder still because of the payload

It's only good in Sim and ONLY because it has PD when most don't and a lower BR. Other than that. Complete crap. I'd never buy it. Wouldn't even play it if it were in the tech tree. Hell I won't even play the U.S F-4J
