Is my baby cursed? Parents share stories of dealing with Autism @MOMKAST

In this video, we will discuss the journey of families coping with autism, emphasizing their emotional and societal challenges. Initially, families often experience shock and confusion when a child is diagnosed with autism, struggling with societal stigma and a lack of support. Public figures like Elon Musk, who are open about their autism, can help change public perceptions and provide validation. However, ordinary families continue to face significant challenges. The narrative highlights how societal attitudes and misconceptions can intensify feelings of isolation and pressure. It suggests that early intervention, education, and supportive communities can help families find understanding and create a nurturing environment for their children, ultimately overcoming stigma and promoting inclusivity.

In Dubai we have inclusive schools where autistic children can get education with normal ones yet they need an LSA and a modified curriculum according to their specific needs.

In West it's a very common problem.. but children can go to school as normal with one to one teacher .. in Pakistan people believe in magic and stuff but they don't think out of the box subhanAllah Allah is the best creator and Almighty knows what is best for us ! Thanks for your effort on highlighting this issue in Pakistan.

We have very less schools for special children. Parents needs to be more patience then the other parents. Allah pak sub ko sehatmand aulaad atta farmaye aur mushkilat say mehfooz rakhay. Ameen

If your child is speaking some words, definitely the child will speak. My son got autism since birth, but he was able to speak two to five words till the age of 2.5 years. We met a lady specialist doctor at Agha Khan. She said that admit the child to school. 2ndly she said that our son will start speaking at around 3 years. Al Hamdulilah doctor was right in her recommendations and our son started speaking.

Thank you so much for creating such valuable content and to all the participants who shared their thoughts, experiences, fears, and joys with us. It's essential for our society to be educated about differently-abled individuals. There's nothing wrong with these individuals; they are just as capable of achieving great things as anyone else. Best of luck to all of you.
