Huge thanks Jason. Particularly useful and helpful, because after the first installation, the screen divided over 2 monitors was enormously overwhelming. Because of this, I thought Davinci Resolve Studio would be too difficult. Thanks to this video, your crash course and the other videos I have been helped a lot. The pace is sometimes difficult, because I first have to search on my own screen. For cropping a clip it would sometimes be helpful to change the program screen background from black to see the edges better but I don't know how to do that. Thanks for your vid!

thanks for this tip. i wonder how on the COLOR tab could I make the timeline-ish stretched out or shrunk it down so I can select clips individually to work on them.

I mostly record vertically. Is there way to locate the viewer to the left hand side of the timeline where I usually see the media pool and effects library?

I have a macbook pro w 1 HDMI and Thunderbolt 2 output and I am getting a larger external curved screen for more real-estate for my timeline, green screen is touch on just the laptop. . Do you have a procedure for setting this up the the Mac or through DaVinci????

Just got into DaVinci and was wondering how do I move around the workspace window. I wanna have my playback window on the top left corner and the timeline on the whole right of the screen because I usually edit multiple footages on top of each other so I kinda need the height for the timeline.

Hey, is it possible to create a complete individual workspace like in premiere pro? In premiere pro you can change everything. You want the window for the effects on the right or left side? You can get it where you want. You want the mixer between the timeline and the effects? You can get it where you want and so on. Is this also possible with davinci resolve?

Hello Jason, thank you for the video :-) Do know how one can make the font size of text names in the menues and submenues (e.g. sound library or toolbox/audio transitions) make generally bigger and how one can change the font colour of text names in the menues and submenues to a stronger contrasting white? It would be so great if you know the answer to that. :-) My eyes would love it :-)

Thank you for this video. Is there a way to change the interface skin or color theme in DaVinci? It's very dark and hard to see the words with the black theme.

hi thx for this tuto. i have an question: can i change the position of viewer window? (i mean that shows timeline). i have a wide single monitor so i want move that for example to the right down and make more hieght space for time line orders...

Hopefully one day they'll let you undock the panels so we can drag them to a second or third monitor.

Great quickey on Interface pannal arrangement.
2 questions Please
1.) why when setting an audio file to ( Display Individual audio Channels) doesn't it stay that way when you close a project abd reopen it again?
2, ) I use 2 HDMI TV's as axualliry screens. One Shows the whole screen the other crops out the edges and I have to crop it every time I open Vavinci on it. I saved it as a in (Work Spacce / Layout Presets} so even then when I load it the panals come up correctly but the size does not and I must adjust it to get the full interface in the screen. Do you think that is normal or am I missing a step or two?
