“I think that, if life separate us and we end up in totally different places, I’ll always remember when our paths align for this period of time and be thankful for that, and hope that wherever you are, you’ll be thankful too”

Cathy's acting is still amazing. She's so natural and vulnerable.

"The wrong person at the right time." Ooof, that line hit close to home...

As a divorcee and a single mum, I cannot believe how accurately WongFu have depicted my feelings and thoughts in so many ways. Wishing everyone who is going through a hard time to see the light at the end of the tunnel soon 🙏🏻.

Anyone watching this now, after Cathy’s news? For her to be going through the same thing around the same time as filming is so heartbreaking. Cathy you’re so strong and brave! You’re doing amazing💕

Maaaajor props to Wong Fu for tackling two topics they’ve never tackled before - divorce and raising a child. Like literally, never before did they cover this. But they did it in the way they know best - staying true to their characters as people and having them tackle these huge, dense life struggles with the full force of their humanity.

No one answer to divorce and single parenthood is correct because no divorce or parenthood is the same - but they had Marissa tackle everything simply and humanly. And that is, once again, Wong Fu knowing their own stories and questions light years further than us as an audience ever could.

I appreciate this series that I’m almost in my 30s. I use to think that romance had to be a cookie cutter relationship and it always had to end up with a happy ending or else you failed. But humans are way more complex than that and you can’t put people into boxes but to let them explore and find out for themselves who they want to be.

I cried when Josh turned over when he heard Marissa's voice, as she walked in. I can't believe meeting the "one that got away" 10 years down the road.

When Marissa walked away after they hugged and Josh was just standing there, I got a flashback of when he did the same thing from the ending in Strangers Again. I was like bruh, go after her!! I was glad he actually did this time 😆 Seeing them meet each other again got me in the feels.

Watching this after learning about Cathy's divorce makes me tear up ... it seems like you can see Cathy's raw emotions in these scenes. Much love ❤️

I have a feeling Marissa wont choose between Gene and Josh. Since she "rushed" and settled with Gene, I feel like at present she'll choose herself and take things slow. There's no timeline and due date for romance, right? I think Strangers Never Again would be about closure and growth for everyone.

I am 38 and divorced....I also didn't imagine this 10 years ago that this would happen when I first watched "Strangers Again". Sending prayers for anyone else going through separation/divorce. 🙏💜

Even though a part of me wants them to end up together and live happily ever after, I also kinda hope they don't. I hope they are able to reconnect and provide each other the closure may be they both felt they never got. I also hope as they reflect on the love they once shared they also realize that they have grown and changed and are not the same people they once were when they had loved each other. And if at all possible...maybe just be friends?

I was really impressed with Cathy's acting! You can see how much it's evolved since Strangers, Again. I found it really hard to connect with the Marissa from 10 years ago because it came across a bit forced on screen (no hate pls). But this time, it's so natural and there's a sense of maturity in her gestures and the way she delivers her lines. You can tell she's put a lot of thought and work into her presentation. Well done Cathy <3

As for Phil, his acting is and always has been flawless! I especially love the scene at the front of the house and how it mirrored the first film. Pure genius! I'm loving this whole series and I can't wait for the next part. Thank you Wong Fu team!

Based on the trailer, they will eventually meet up to talk at that bench. If I’m to put my best guess forward of the ending: they catch up on their lives of what happened to each of them in 10 years, and evaluate what didn’t work out back then with each other and with their last relationships. Then they become business partners because he’s a realtor and she remodels/flips houses, and hence they will never be strangers again.

Either way even if this isn’t the ending, great job as always Wongfu! And Phil if you’re reading this, i know I’m not the first to say it but you truly have a gift for storytelling.

Following this series and I didn't realize it's been a decade since Strangers Again and watching this right now making me feel like a roller coaster of emotions 'cause I'm on this stage of my life right now. This series hits me hard and I love it!

"I had my shot and it blew up in my face" hit me so hard! I felt that when I divorced in my early 40s. Then I found love again a few years later.
