SABC News Reporter Lerato Makola shares her experience after attending the funeral of Soweto children who died after consuming snacks alleged to have contained poison.

Sadly, the 6th child, who had been in ICU, has reportedly passed away.

Her mother, who was part of the mourners attending the funeral service of the five other children was called to rush to the health facility where she received news of her son's passing.

The spaza shops must not sell rat poison. Its not worth it. If the pkts or boxes break it can spread on the snacks or anything. Its too sad to lose our innocent children. Prayers to all the families. Ameen.
