Freiburger and Finnegan add a turbocharger to the 1974 Mazda RPU named Mazdarati 2.0. After an impressive turn on the dyno, the guys hit the drag strip to see if the mid-engine, 5.3L LS4-powered mini-truck can outperform its predecessor.

I remember the Mazdarati and the Impala. That were the good old days when I as a big fan could watch Roadkill, HotRod Garage etc. here in Germany before it was shutdown for the public. Too sad. Will never understand that...

The original Mazdarati used to sit in the parking lot of the Supermercado, across the street from the county parole office in Santa Rosa, with a for sale sign on it. I saw it there every week while I was on parole. 😄

I am just sooo happy they're back doing stuff on YT. As much as I'm sad for Finnegan's troubles and what not, the peak Roadkill was these two guys up to shenanigans. It was gold. I'm really happy to see Roadkill back to it's roots.
