Counting Breaths is a simple breathing practice you can do with the whole family.

Try it in the morning, to start your day off from a place of calm. Or mid-day and at night before bed, when you need a moment to wind down and recenter.

The intention is not to see how many rounds of breath you can complete. It’s not a race. But how present can you stay with each breath in your body.

If your mind wanders, and it will, because that’s what the mind does, just notice that (this is part of the practice) and begin back at 1.
