Israel's Iron Dome missile defence system is called into action in the skies above Ashkelon as it tries to intercept and knock out Palestinian rockets.

The Iron Dome is used to protect land from the impact of enemy missiles before they land.

Israeli missile technology is amazing. Even so, it is strange that the missile's residuals do not fly even though it is intercepting directly above.
