Israel's Iron Dome intercepts massive Hezbollah missile barrage

Eyewitness footage shows the moment a massive rocket barrage fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon over the border into northern Israel is intercepted by the Iron Dome defence system.

Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant told the United States special envoy to the region, Amos Hochstein, that Hezbollah’s continued attacks on Israel were bringing the country closer to a decision regarding military action in Lebanon, as the terror group launched fired fresh rockets and missiles at the north.

The Iron Dome is very impressive, and at a lower trajectory the Iron Beam is wiping out the low flying rockets very efficiently as well. The Israelis are the first advanced military Nation to effectively utilise Directed Energy Weapons (Laser Beams) in actual combat. Its the REAL STAR WARS laser beams.

United States-owned bulk carrier "True Confidence" was abandoned in the Gulf of Aden after being targeted by Houthi missiles, British maritime security company Ambrey announced on Wednesday.

The agency added that three crew members are missing and four others sustained burn injuries. Following the assault, the sailors were transferred to lifeboats.

Previously, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) issued a warning about a recent attack near the coast of Yemen, approximately 54 nautical miles southwest of Aden, Yemen.

This was obviously Hezbollah using this opportunity to study the Iron Dome defensive system and it's vulnerabilities. Sending rockets and/or missiles in that fashion is perfect for studying a defensive system. The Russians did the same to Ukraine. If Hezbollah were really serious with their attack, it would have come from different locations and times AND in ways that would have made Iron Dome useless.

Those are incredibly cheap and slow firing rockets aimed at depleting the very expensive Iron Dome interceptors.

Each rocket normally costs 300 dollars. Each Irone Dome interceptor costs around 125, 000 dollars.

This attack cost around 10, 000 dollars to deplete around 3, 750, 000 dollars worth of interceptors. Israel normally fires two or three interceptors to guarantee destruction of the missile. So that can double the cost to 7.5 million.

After the interceptors are depleted a second attack normally follows that Israel can't block.

This method of defense is economically unsustainable, but lucky the US will foot the bill and pass it on to the taxpayer.

The only solution is diplomacy.
