The song is played in the key of B Minor and it's riffs utilize elements from the B Natural Minor Scale {R, M2, b3, p4, p5, b6, b7} along with the B Blues Scale {R, b3, p4, b5, p5, b7} with the addition of the Major Third, M3, and the Flat Second, b2, from the Phrygian Dominant Scale {R, b2, M3, p4, p5, b6, b7}
