Your TEMU experience is showing me all the reasons why I have steered clear from it so far - cheap is not a good deal id the product isn’t good.

I started about a year ago collecting tools with the idea of improving my home. I started with Dewalt for my bigger tools and then as I looked around on Temu I started to build my hand tools too. In fact I found that a lot of the tools I’ve bought from Temu are exactly the same as the ones you have shown. My most disappointing product from this list was in fact the pliers set. They changeable head drew me on but when I used them they just got stripped as the steel is not a very good quality, the snipers and clipper heads just bend to the shape of the item being cut. I do have to say though over all I have been pleased with the tools I’ve got and the home improvements whilst slow continue onwards. Great idea putting them in shadow foam, it’s my plan for the new year to do that as Christmas presents move out of my shed/ workshop and I can claim back my space.
I did try to convert my drill into a very small chain saw but it exploded in my face on first use, I wasn’t hurt, but no more conversion kits for me.

I discovered Temu about 9 months ago and have bought quite a few woodworking tools and so far they seem to be ok. I also bought bulk orders of coaster blanks for use with my laser engraver and they too have been reasonably good quality and have been well received by people I have made them for. Price wise they seem to be significantly cheaper than Amazon or Ebay but the buyer definitely needs to read item descriptions carefully as some of them can be misleading, ie:- you think you are buying a set of items but the price is for one piece only and clothing sizes are asian sizes so a size large in Asian size is only about 32 - 34 in british size.

the secret to temu is taking time and actually analysing the product and listing as the descriptions are sneaky and make stuff seem more for less when really its less for more. its great app for bits you dont mind ruining or know there gonna break or not last long.
in the same instance i have had a lot of stuff that is still working and doing what it was intended to do over a year later...

its a good old hit and miss.

but simply if it looks like a chocolate bar it probably is so dont pay gold bar money !!!!

been using temu since the start, when they started it was free postage without a restriction on lower limit needed to order then it went to £5, now its £15. For best deals you need to put item in basket and wait until they offer you same at lower price. Top tip is to have patience put kit in basket you will buy or is consumable so when you need to top up to £15 you are ready. The also will send credit back offers - spend £££ amount get same back in vouchers that you can use when spending differing amounts these do not last long and encourage you to order quick with the risk of that rush purchase that sits in draw never used or is passed on as a present to a friend who puts in draw- quality of goods from 0 to 100 but they do have customer reviews and some handy reviewers post pictures or like mr shadow foam make a tube vid, cheers bud

Good vid. One thing I love about your reviews is your total honesty, what you say is what I would think. I also have a handful of the tools you reviewed, I forget the actual names. Ine is the chuck handle for the grinder or circular saw wheels, which I really like. Another is one you reviewed early in this vid, the ruler, tape measure, level etc; I've had that for years & I've used it quite often. One more is the double headed circlip remover tool. I have used it, but I'm still trying to work out the best way of using it. I have to say that many of today's tools were funny, and often pointless, but others are real gems, especially that interchangeable pliers/cutters/etc. keep up the good work & I'm loving my shadow foam. It's like being a kid in a sweet shop. 😬😁😄

The welder's Pliers, those spanner parts are for changing the bottle/gauges and possibly the welder nozzles ( that is how I see it being used) as a often the tool for the job goes missing, so a set of those in your tool kit is a good idea

Another cracking tool video. I have bought some tools from Temu, and there are some good ones to be had for ridiculously cheap prices. However, there is a lot of tat too. The skill is in studying the listings and photos carefully before making the purchase, and managing ones expectations when the parcel arrives.
I've had some good diamond sharpening stones from them, and a great set of feeler gauges (checked them all with a micrometer too - they were spot on!)

Bought a lot of Temu products. A bit hit and miss, but overall very impressed. Some of the stuff is available from other venders like Amazon with various brands printed on. The packaging is always a bit of a question but for what you pay to receive an item from China is amazing.
