A new video cleared by the Defense Department shows Raytheon’s “Phaser” high-power microwave (HPM) weapon in a demonstration at the U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Raytheon used the swarm-destroying Phaser to bring down Flanker and Tempest drones during the live-fire demonstration conducted Sept. 30-Oct. 3, 2013. Three years later, the Defense Department has cleared the footage for public release. Raytheon says it has already reduced the size of the Phaser payload by half and is offering the system up for operational use.

"Fully capable of third party organic, and non-organic target queuing..." could it give some one "Havana Syndrome"

Why are innocent victims attacked with DEWs labeled crazy people? Makes no sense.

Worse when used stealth on physical body with less power.

This is what the Imperial Japanese Army were trying to make during "the 2nd World War"

High powered radar systems brought down UFOs in the 40s I wonder if this system can do the same thing?

Its amazing how the human mind works. I visualized this with my "magical thinking" before reading about it. Even years ago when i first saw drones I felt that it would be extremely cost effective to create a drone swarm with 1 in 5 or 1 in 10 carrying explosives which would bring the cost down dramatically. In theory you take a $50 drone and rig it up with some c4 or whatever and you have a mini version of ww2 japanese kamakazis. These are going to devastate ships...imagine a simultaneous attack from sea and air drones. If the war ever became a battle of attrition idn expect Saran gas to be coupled with the drones. Anyway after thinking of this new weapon system I had to think of a counter for it. The only logical weapon i could think of to destroy a swarm of these things would be some sort of Ray gun. Problem though. Ive seen new drones fly directly from the air to the sea and visa versa. Were going to have to develop some sort of underwater amp or Ray gun or twe'll lose the sea. Im very worried if our enemies are dedicated and numerous that they could wipe us out in the sea arena right now. I think russia and china know this..hence russias aggression in the ukraine. China may very well have the balls to move into taiwan because they know we cannot defeat them all in a conventional war. Our navys too old and the technology is shoddy. What weapons do we have to protect against sea swarms of drone subs? Our only option is to turn to space. We control space and we control our enemies sattelites their GPS their internet etc. I know weve been focused on the space front for quitr some time. Its the only logical conclusion to this huge problem. If we can control space we could even control our enemies ability to launch missiles. Game over. Say hello to Star Wars. You havent seen our real weapons yet, people. If we knee the amount of dollars we put into space i thibk all our heads would spin. If you all know of any space weapons please reply to this comment and enlighten me

Soviets figured out Scalar Electro-Magnetics in the 1950's and refined and weaponized it over the decades. Lt Col Tom Bearden gave an in depth detailed lecture in 1988 on the history, current use and potential future capabilities in these "Time Reversal" Waves which instantly decays nuclear materials causing full scale detonations in nuclear bombs, missiles and even nuclear waste (Chernobyl was an unintended consequence of a nearby transmitter about 30 KM away, and just one example)
TR Waves can essentially be applied to any kind of radar or device that sends/recieves frequencies, even sound. Which leads to things like "Havana Syndrome"

The push for global denuclearization is only fueled by their desire to use these weapon systems on their enemies without any worry of massive amounts of Nuclear fallout spreading all over the Planet. Mutually assured destruction is still a deterrent, and nuclear weapons and power plants pose a serious and undesired risk for their plans. So naturally they'll be grandstanding on peace to accomplish clearing the global battlefield of nuclear landmines to send in their big guns.

Can this also put down bigger aircrafts?

It seems that it is very huge (probably very expensive) to counter lil drones no ?

Used these kinds of weapons in command and conquer: generals!
