As a little girl, I preferred watching the old Hollywood films, esp the dancing features and Eleanor Powell was the 'dancing queen'! Very tough routines, she was able to pull off, the most amazing...ever! With a beautiful warm face, that I just loved! May she RIP, esp after all that dancing she delighted us with! ❤

She was the greatest tap dancer in history and I don't think there is anyone today that can compare. Fred Astaire was so intimidated by her that he didn't like dancing with her. She could dance circles around him.
