Eleanor in a rare bit of footage, purported to have been cut from one of her films. It was later used in an obscure compilation film that was believed to have been lost for many years.

It was cut from 'Honolulu' because the studio thought it already had enough tapping by Ellie in the can. It was eventually chucked into a hotchpotch of unused routines called 'The Great Morgan', a support feature (60 mins) in which Frank Morgan plays a clueless movie producer. Shot in 1939; not released till 1946, two years after she had retired, and only distributed overseas.

Glen ford took all her money when HE left her! Get it right. She was so poor she ended up eating beans in her living room. Then she HAD to go back to work at 50 which means she had to get back in top shape. She’s not voted the best rap dancer (1965) of all time for nothing. Even the Nicholas bros said she was the best. Man or woman
