Eric Weinstein - Is This the End of Honest Journalism | The Winston Marshall Show #033

Dr. Eric Weinstein, one of America’s leading public intellectuals, sits down to discuss the fall of his once cherished Democrat Party. With days to go until the election he shares his frustration at what the party has become. He shares his deep contempt for the mainstream media and how they attacked him for his association with JD Vance, Trump’s VP pick. Dr Weinstein shares his anger at the farcical nature of the election.

He tells me about his deep love for England, his admiration for British physicists, and his love of music, even pulling out his grandfather’s mandolin.

All this and much more…

Standing up to bullies does not make one a bully.

Well I'm a single woman and i wouldn't vote for a left wing party. Not any more. I used to. Then I grew up and saw reality.

Before we tackle artificial intelligence, can we please work on natural stupidity?

What a fantastic discussion! I don't agree with the man on many things, but the discussion is something almost lost these days.
Thank you!

What is Trump supposed to do or say when he's attacked with words and bullets?

I'm a single woman above 50; made some mistakes in my life where relationships are concerned for sure.
I love my male friends & admire their tenacity to make it through this world.
I feel no bitterness toward them & don't have a house full of cats.
I can't fathom buying into the superficial platitudes & phony cloak of virtue that the new Cheney aligned
admin puts forth.
Yeah, I admit I cried & believed the nonsense about orange man in 2016, but then my bullshit meter starting
ringing with the insane amount of fear mongering from the media.
It caused me to take a deeper look.
He's a flawed, tone deaf boob most of the time, but his obsession with the country looking recognisable
again is authentic.
Yes, he is narcissistic, but I don't believe it's "all about him" this time.
All one need do is listen to him speak repeatedly in non political interviews throughout the last 40 years
and the proof is in the pudding.
My female friends are not happy w/ me currently, and to be honest I now question their judgement.
It's just hard to believe that anyone doesn't see the unspeakable phoniness of it all.

Trump is defending himself, he’s not a bully.

I’m a Swedish hardworking grandmother, I spend as much time as I can with my grandchildren. I see it as my responsibility to pass on values and life experiences because that’s the meaning of life! If I could afford to stop working and helping out more I would do it with no doubt!

Trump saying mean things about people who smear and bully him isn't bullying. And he didn't do anything wrong on J6.

I like Eric because he says a lot of things that need to be said, but sometimes he makes points that don't need to be made because they come out of his self-described bubble.
He likes to label things, call himself a Democrat, but when Winston asked if he had a problem being called a progressive, Eric took offense to it.
The thing I like least it how Eric takes a stand on so many issues, especially against his own party, but when it comes down to it, he's not willing to punish them by voting against them.
That says it all, really.

High respect for the interviewee however I disagree with painting President Trump as not an adult, a bully, and not qualified to meet the moment we are in. Kamala Harris is grossly unequipped.

It looks like Eric is having a difficult time leaving his cult. Its been his identity for likely most of his life. Hopefully he's able to overcome. Thank you Winston

Trump may be a lot of things, but evil isn't one of them. He'll listen to people and try to figure out a way to help. And he truly is sharp as a tack.

One of my favourite interactions between two highly morally conscientious and intriguing minds! Enjoyed every minute!

I have to say that President Trump LOVES America. Democrats love power.
