Types of qualitative research design with examples in research methodology
Показать описание
This video is all about different types of qualitative research. Eight types of qualitative research are explained in this video with different examples.
Eight types included in this video are grounded theory, focus group, ethnography model, case study, phenomenological method, narrative model, participant observation, and historical method. The grounded theory method tries to explain why a course of action evolved the way it did. Focus groups typically bring together six to nine participants to discuss issues and concerns with a user interface. In Ethnography, the goal is to learn and describe the culture's characteristics. The case study model provides an in-depth look at one test subject. The phenomenological approach aims to explore the experiences of a particular phenomenon in a community or a group of people. The narrative model focuses on spoken or written words or visual representations by people. Participant observation is a form of usability testing in which researchers watch a participant perform a series of tasks in order to see first-hand how they interact with a product or service, and what problems they encounter etc., The historical model involved in the detailed study of past events in order to get a better understanding of the present and predict future events on that basis.
So I believe that through my video you are able to clarify the topic types of qualitative research through my video. Thanks for watching my video.
