How to get Pod B early in NieR:Automata

i literally spent probably 10 hours trying to jump over the tent.... lol.

I had to search how to do a super jump as well.

Also, for those who are playing on Steam, I strongly recommend to get a controller instead of using a keyboard for this. The super high jump requires "Evades/Dash" in its button sequences. However, with keyboard, you can only activate "Evade/dash" by pressing the forward key twice. To the super high jump pattern, that will always be too slow to finish the high jump. (For references, I used a XBOX One wireless controller. I connected it with my computer through blue tooth.)

Also, for the jump, below were some links that helped me. For the references:
- PS 4 - X: Jump, Square: light attack, Triangle: heavy attack, R+L: (Sorry... i forgot what the default setting was...)
- XBOX - A: Jump, X: light attack, Y: heavy attack, R+L: (Sorry... i forgot what the default setting was...)

I changed my XBOX controller's heavy attack to B. So that it's easier to do the "Launcher", by pressing the Jump and Heavy attack together. (I found that the jump needs to be pressed slightly earlier than heavy attack for this....)

Hi everyone. Writing this as of Nov 14. Playing Nier to play Soul calibur. The glitch still works. I got my Pod B.

Still works, for those who can't find the missing link it's the jump & immediately dash so she is holding the pod - pod dash will let you continuously glide, there's a sweet spot towards the edge of the box that gets you through

*How to easily do this in the Pc Version of the Game with a Keyboard*
All Credits to Skycloud0215 and Ryanide!

*Requirements*
•Use these Weapons to do this:-
• Virtuous Contract (Small Swords)
• Bare Fists (Combat Bracers)
Note: Both are Beginner Friendly

*How to do*
Firstly after doing the top requirements, go to the crate place in the video (1:22) step a bit back then Press "W"(Walk/Run/Move)[The direction your Camara facing may make a defference] and immidiatly Press "Spacebar" (Jump) and also Click "Right Click/Mouse Button 2" (Heavy Attack) and Press "Spacebar" (Jump) with that you should be high in the Air! Next immidiatly click "Left Click" (Light Attack) then Press "Q" (Fire 1)[For me Q is Fire 1] and Simply press "Spacebar" (Jump) [At the same time as Q (Fire 1)] that is all! It should make a frontward push that will give you the edge you need to get to the other side! *Good Luck* this may take a Few attempts but I wish you the best!

Took a few trys on jumping but I used the floating down method and it worked... As for the fishing have patience it worked 😉 6/12/20 4am

I found this pod today literally on accident, I’m in the mission looking for 9s and I just went fishing and got it.
First cast, didn’t even know there was a pod b and boom.

Thank you so much!!!! It really helps. I was spending a lots of time on internet to get the third pod for 2B. Thank you for this tutorial! By the way, there is a connecting point near the sea (next to waterfall). You don't need to let 2B die.

Bruh I managed to get the third por on my very first walkthrough. Right where I spawned after the fight with the giant monster the sea was in front of me and I only decided to fish, just to chill and BUM! New pod.

YES THIS STILL WORKS just got Pod B took about 15 min of fishing and about 10 tries to get the skip but i got it

Thanks for the advice in the other video. Turned out that I had to disable the FAR fps cap to be able to jump properly and have the animation work. But my new problem is that I can't complete that last jump. Although removing the fps cap lets me jump higher, it is laggy and difficult to time the heavy attack after the jump. Nearly a dozen attempts and I've only 2/3 made it to the other side. Keep sinking after attempting the jump+heavy attack at 2:36 .

Can this glitch be achieved with 9S?? He doesnt seem to have 2Bs jumping power or the strong attack to gain the extra air height
