Basic Math - Square Roots

Thank you so much for the help!!! Im a freshmen in highschool (E-learning) and i forgot about square roots so this video was exactly what i needed

For the past 4 years since I first encountered square root, no teacher was able to educate me on this subject. In 7 minutes, this channel has done more for my education than 4 years of math teachers and one professor could.

I'm a student atn the 8th grade, and our mathematics is very very hated by other students and parents, but I'm different... I've watched Scott Flansburg (the human Calculator) and got very very very very very inspired to do math, i got much much better at math in two days😂
Yesterday i was learning multiplication, and today i have been learning about roots, I'm now better at them, and can break down large numbers (5 or 6 digits) number into a square root of two digits number.
I feel maths are being good for me again.

I am ready to break down and cry and scream and cry some more because I was born in 65 and as a six-month-old baby I was in a car accident and it damage my entire body it damage my pituitary gland it damage my brain to the point where learning was slow I couldn't retain anything I learned. All through school I couldn't learn math I love math the highest I've ever gotten was to division. I've never been able to learn anything past Division I am now 53 years old and I am going to YouTube which you're the first person that I've done the roots √ and you have broken it down to make it so easy that I just I'm so happy I just want to cry you don't know how happy you have made me to know that even with brain damage multiple head collisions that I still can learn I thank God for you. I still can't hold American history. It seems like a different language.

There is nothing worse than the feeling of ignorance to me. It is demeaning and demoralizing not to mention soul crushing. As a child growing up in the 1960s I think I must have chewed on to many lead-painted window sills. I absolutely hated school and seemingly could not for the life of me learn anything. Finding your video here has been like a breath of fresh air. I now understand square roots for the most part for the first time in my 64 years of life. I wish someone with your patience and easy-going teaching methods would have been there in my early learning time of life.
It would be great to have you explain the simple meanings and applications of mathematics symbols, letters, and locations of numbers meanings. I don't know if that made any sense at all.
Like this; 2 X 2 = 4 or 2 • 2 = 4
When I grew up the symbol for multiplication was X not a •.
Or a horizontal bar with a dot above and below it meant division ( I can't even find that symbol )not a forward slash 4 / 2 = 2
Shit the bed, I can't even communicate. Oh well, I hope you are picking up what I am laying down. Keep on doing what you are doing. There are a great number of people that need you in there lives. Helping the simple-minded is far more rewarding than you will probably ever know.

Thank yo sm! I'm in 8th grade, and all I had to do was watch like 1 minute in, and it snapped into my brain. My teacher tried to explain it for 1 week straight, and I never got it, but all you had to do was teach it for ONE MINUTE of my life, and i understood ik its very simple, but for e its a shocker.
