i can relate to this personally. my mom who i cant say i love, kept me from meeting my dad. she said he was a deadbeat who never wanted to meet me or my siblings but he legally couldnt. So i grew up thinking he hated me. Now that i’ve met him i realized i was truly robbed

I cry to this song while singing my heart out, I relate to Tyler. My father’s a dead beat, but I feel sorry for him because he’s a schizophrenic and when we lost my two older brothers to a house fire it fucked him up in the head worst. Everyone has said I look like my father and I just laugh but it hurts to think I look like that monster. And I know I’m not perfect either and neither is he, but that man will never, EVER, Be my father.
