An interesting thing to point out is that the creepy serial killer that Tyler portrayed in his earlier albums was called Sam Baudelaire.. so I'm not sure why he called himself Tyler Baudelaire in CMIYGL.

Maybe a reference to him killing off his old personas?

I see the video more as embracing nature and his base instincts and that his next project will be a more raw, naturalistic record. The background and the shirtless, unencumbered, Tyler leads me to think that he will try amd shed and barriers between his music and himself. There's also the connection between the African looking background and the mandigo-esque brutality shown as he beats Baudelaire Tyler in a way reminiscent of the slave fight scene in Django Unchained that leads me to believe the future holds a more raw and revealing Tyler project
