To people acting like he's injury prone, he isn't. He didn't miss many games in his career untill last season where he had some tough luck with injury. If that makes a player injury prone that would scrap the majority of players off our list.

As a Liverpool fan im actually shocked that Bayern has let him go hes an exceptional CB on his day, ive watched Bayern for the last few seasons and hes always shone when hes played and is Bayerns best defender. I can only imagine there must be something else medical or personal thats wrong with him because if thats not the case , Bayern are making a huge mistake here.

His defending and reading of the game is good but his pace is still questionable. Saw him played in the recent friendly against Canada and he seems slightly faster than maguire. This may be a problem playing in the Premier league.

Is a cracking defender. Has weaknesses but then again who doesn't. If we can get him for a decent price & on decent wages then surely it's a no brainer

I’m just not convinced because of these reasons
1) most of his moments in this video are from his time in Juventus, which means it’s not his current form. I’m not saying he isn’t good enough, I’ve watch some Bayern matches where he was solid but not as good as his time in Juve
2) all I’m seeing here is his defensive abilities which is the most important aspect of defending but football has become modernized so even defenders need to have some level of ball carrying abilities and I can’t really see that in him. I know Martinez can do that but he’s always injured so we need at least one of our new defenders to have such abilities

He's not injury prone. All injury are not recurring of the same injury. But he does dive into challeng and that risk an injury.

Also he isn't slow either. He has good positioning and intelligence to read the game well. Thus rely less on chasing asses.

I had seen video of him splinting vs Chiasa at Juve. They are tied. He's have decent speed.
