I honestly wish they would make this the default color scheme for PS5, it looks so much better than the bland white-on-black. The rainbow PlayStation logo really needs to make a comeback, too!

I feel like a decent compromise would've been to sell the grey plates for the Pro but keep the base console grey/limited # etching exclusive to the LE. I get my grey plates and nostalgia kick, collectors get bragging rights, everybody's happy.

This was a really nice comprehensive unboxing of the 30th Anniversary lineup. Was never interested in investing into any of this, and that still remains the same, but a real treat for PlayStation fans.

honestly, the PSX color scheme suits that design way more, either that or do a PS2 inspired look & have the grills blue with the rest of the console being matte black

That grey makes the PS5 look better by making the color scheme not generic, but the PS5's size is unwieldy, and the shape is flat awful. Which is wild, because I love the shape of the PS4, the Switch is one of the best console aesthetic designs ever, and the Xbox Series X has a perfect design for a vertical console in my opinion.
