RAAW Jibb Review - Short Travel Shredder!

Following on from the success of their Madonna enduro mountain bike, @raawmountainbikes added the Jibb to their product line. The Jibb is intended to be an option for riders looking for a shorter travel and more agile bike that still packs a punch. With their signature no-nonsense approach and well thought out details, I was excited to see how the shorter travel offering would compare. It’s safe to say it didn’t disappoint, leading to some rowdy times on the local trails.

I'm currently riding a new Madonna V3 in the Alpes de Haute provence and I met a German here that's riding a Jib. He's a better rider than me, but on this trail "heavy"/enduro "light" terrain, he wasn't held back by the jib at all. He said he owns a Madonna as well and is probably going to get the new Jib. From what I saw this is a perfect bike for aggressive riders that want one bike that does it all. I do enjoy the extra plush of the Madonna. On my mellower home trails I default to a hardtail.

What is the chain guide - bash guard model you had on the test bike? Having issues fitting any into my Jibb :)

I always keep my short travel bike it really shred differently, so fun sp agile and can climb and can do trail.

Thanks for the review! Been constantly researching about this bike and watching reviews specially after the discount seen on a few websites.

Looks like a fun that can be built in so many ways.

Eager to see the new version come out before I make my decision to purchase one.

Anyways I would never want to pay for an ALU frame more than 1600 euros😅….

Nothing against ALU, I currently ride a 2022 Mega 275 and love it.

Speaking of breaking wheels.

Those Silt wheels are made out of cheese.

The AM rear wheel dinged pretty badly with less than 4 rides on mellow terrain… Hence the cheap price

Honestly dont know how these tanks are popular. My heavy bike weighs 29 lbs and feels sluggish next to my 27 lber. 36 just seems ridiculous.

Jibb is little bit outdated with 65.5HT and No mx 😢. Pity.
