I restarted my island at 3 stars. Deleted all data at 120 hours played. I started terraforming and my island has both river ends at the south. It was impossible for my river to keep intact and I wanted a grand entrance from the airport and residents service was too close to my airport for that. I also hated most villagers, they were just boring. I realized with my island I’ll NEVER have my island look how I wanted. I restarted and DO NOT regret it. Since I restarted I started getting into AC forms because I needed DIYS. Now I love my island and have a lot of people helping me build it up 😊

i kinda wish i had seen this back when i started the game, but i still really like my island and i think i’ve made it work :) i hate how close resident services is to the airport tho

I have almost 1300 hrs put into my island.. I can’t bring myself to restart.. but I’m having the same entrance problem you were. I swear it feels like I put 600 hrs into my freakin entrance lol. I’ve redone it 3-4 times now without resetting. It really is important to pick the right layout at the start!

Thank you for this video! I had the same island as you had before and I became dissatisfied with the results after months later, it's sad that I have to lose all my progress because I finished the sea creatures and was almost finished with the bugs but I'll be more than happy to restart to make my island better

I’m thinking on re-starting my island, I just started my island and so many things went wrong for me I’m still thinking but I’d maybe screen shot all my art I did and re-starting- the island wasn’t what I imagined :< . But this helped a lot

I’ve restarted 3 times, and it’s gonna be 4 tomorrow.
First time(Goldcrest): my peninsula was the most awkward shape everrr and my beaches were tiny and resident services was so nearly a straight line from the airport (as in if you make a path going straight from airport to RS it’s nearly a straight line buts it was off by one block. I’d also flattened and terra formed beyond repair.
Second time(mooncrest): I chose two south river exits. Impossible to do anything lol
Third (Goldcrest): flowers. I’m not exaggerating 3/4 of my island was covered in flowers. Whenever I logged on I literally cried because they just kept growing.
Fourth (mushroom) : gonna do it tomorrow. I have no motivation anymore I have every diy, a fully decorated island, all my dreamies I just have nothing to do. Rip mushroom
