Welcome to Meghan Grace DIY! I have been sewing since I was 8 years old and have done lots of great things in the sewing world from making figure skating costumes to teaching high school fashion to freelance costume design to college fashion professor. In this video I break down the psychological reasons behind why humans chose the clothing that they do. Why do we wear clothes? There are many different decisions that go into the clothing we wear, all relating to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. We chose clothing to be protected, to decorate and adorn ourselves and demonstrate our status. Before we get started I think it is important to note that as much as I try to include strictly facts in this type of video, I do still interpret those facts through my own personal experiences and you may not agree with all I have to say. Each of the points in the video could be broken down into a video of its own, so I apologize if I don't go fully in depth but if you would like a video on a specific aspect of clothing, feel free to let me know! When I was 17 at school I'd wear a rainbow coloured Palace Hoodie, Checkerboard trousers & Yeezy's.

Genuinely was a clown look hahaha. Definitely communicated "I don't give a f or care what you think" - I used find it amusing getting strange looks from people purposefully breaking social norms

crew socks, chinese shoes, brown tee, crossover white shirt, flower leggings is what we're wearing. It is pretty casual and other day at the store with our hooded sweat jacket work out thing on n' sun hat it seemed like the people were screaming at us in the parking lot. scary. what are you doing? someone screamed- maybe the kid who was with their folks getting out of the car as we put the shopping cart up. we were just putting up shopping cart at the busy thanksgiving store. scared to do that again actually.
A tunic designed to go over leggings shows that we aren't wearing them as pants though. Some wear them as pants and it's really low class.

Why do we still wear clothes in modern-day Society. It's not like we have all of the elements and dangers that are ancestors had. If we were born naked, and we probably also Die naked, Why do clothes really matter. We all look the same for the most part. Clothes are just a social conditioning we've all had, why can't we break it and just be naked? If clothes are just there to make us unique or different, then I don't think clothes really matter.
