Harmonic Rhythm for Better Phrasing

Not all ii V Is are the same, the tune informs your phrasing. When learning jazz, a lot of people heavily lean on ii V I vocabulary, and most of that vocabulary has a heavy, final, resolution when it gets to the I chord. In this video, we explore harmonic rhythm to dissect the tune and find out where you phrase through and where the big resolutions are in a tune.
