How to roll up the hose on a Ryobi 2000 PSI pressure washer.

This is the best way I have found to make the hose reel useful and functional.

Wake up Ryobi! 9000+ people viewed this trying to find out how to work the useless hose reel. The included instructions begin with: remove hose from hose reel. Right! It wasn't on the hose reel. Why? Because it doesn't fit!

Ryobi needs to engineer this hose reel where the customer do not have to remove the connection at the reel all the time to use the reel. What a waste of time dicsonnecting and reconnecting. And to all you people that needed this video to figure this out, may god be with you!!!

Your video helps a lot but the roll is still useless. I found it's easier to loosely roll it around the lower sides of the handle. It trains the line to be less coiled and it only takes a few seconds to unravel and you can keep everything connected.

This is helpful. When I tried to set mine up, It was nearly impossible to get the hose on the reel, and then the hose kinked, so it was useless. I had to call the company to get a replacement hose, which, fortunately, they said they will send. The directions that came in the box are terrible, and so are the pictures. Now, when I get the new hose, I will know what to do. Thanks.

It took me an honest 10 seconds to figure out the hose reel, but then again 20 years in the USAF as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist and tinkering with stuff since I was 10 years old may have helped.

I saw your video quite informative. I just bought a commowner with the same issue and returned it due to that. It should never have came with a reel as is a pain in the butt to roll up
