Why the hate for the proprietary charging port? It works brilliantly and doesn't wear out....I have 5 year old chargers that are still working well and don't put stress on either tha cable or the port. Plus I have a heap of them do super convenient. If it ain't broke, leave it the f alone

I have this exact laptop, and I know a few people have this, but is your power button slightly wobbly/loose? I’m not sure if this is the same with all surface pros, or if it’s just mine.. just curious.

A good review - thanks. One advantage of the Surface connector is that it gives fast recharging whereas the USB-C is not as fast to charge. It also gives a one-connector interface to expansion via a dock.

At first, unlike Surface Pro 7, the Surface Pro 7 Plus screen uses low-frequency PWM.

Lenovo is the most business brand and introduces and drops proprietary stuff all the time. The proprietary port in Surface devices need to go, no excuses.
