The pigs are likely descended from Spanish pigs. The Spanish released herds of pigs throughout the Caribbean and the Americas during colonization. Pigs are highly intelligent, very fecund, generalist scavengers who can basically eat anything. The Spanish knew that if they released a handful onto any island they would establish a healthy population in a few years that they could harvest for food whenever they needed it. Unfortunately, these animals also ravaged native ecosystems, making them akin to 16th century bioweapons, and might have contributed to the collapse of Amerindian populations due to disease which allowed for the colonization of the New World.

He butcherd the word Bahamian 😂it's pronounced Ba he mian and the A actually sounds like u in up so it pronounced Buhemian 😂

Bahamian not pronounced Bah but buh and it's the same with Bahamas except the second a is pronounced Ha instead of he for Bahamian it's weird I know 😂
