The root of the necessity of competition is that a lot of us want the same thing but competition is not necessarily all bad, it is also the fastest way to learn and grow but how much of it is advantageous and how much is self-destroying?

I used to hate competition too..i still hate it..and I just want to do my own thing.. Peacefully.. That's all I ever want..

I used to think I'm weak for thinking like that.. Because i have been around people who love to compete..who would get involved in a heated argument within no time..but i have always tried not to get involve in fights.. because i believe there are better options than to fight..

man competition is must for improving our condition..its scary but it is the ultimate reality..every living being is competing for something..either survival of life in wild or in our case earning a livelihood

I think, though we are competing with approx 1 lakh people in GATE exam but we should never think about it as it gives us a lot of stress and then we will not be able to focus on our work . I think we should always try to be the better version of ourselves and that is more than sufficient for me, if I come out of GATE preparation with the better version of myself then I will be more than happy and getting some good rank is just the byproduct of this journey.
I only want to say that we should be completely devoted to our work and should not think about the competition bcz we cannot do much about it, it will be just the wastage of time and energy thinking about the competition.

I'm currently watching Netflix 'our planet' series and there were some scenes in which animals compete with themselves for food they travel thousands of km to get food but they still have to compete so yeah competition is a part of nature
