Breaking news: man who spends all of his time on the internet is average looking

Smartest thing I'd ever heard was: "Insulting the features of someone who doesn't care will not hurt them, but loved ones around you with those features now know what you think of them."

About a Corpse face reveal, I think many people forget or are not aware he is physically disabled. He has mentioned that's why there is an eyepatch on all his avatars, and that it has previously been kind of damaging to his self-esteem. Based on the reaction to an average looking guy that has not based his platform on being (or sounding) attractive, I don't think Corpse will ever reveal his face. Honestly, I don't think it is a gamble worth taking because it could not only actually affect his earnings, but I think it could be disastrous for his mental health. People don't realize how much of what we collectively consider to be attractive is based in covert bigotry such as ableism.

I swear, people don't know what a human being is supposed to look like anymore...

i actually kind of hope Corpse just never reveals his face? cause damn, people are going to be horrible to him. people are flat out expecting him to be hot and they will blame him for not meeting their subjective expectations. so i just hope he avoids this kind of bullhonky

bro people’s reaction to the face reveal is PROBABLY PART OF WHY HE DIDNT REVEAL HIS FACE AND WHY CORPSE ISNT GOING TO REVEAL HIS FACE EITHER WTF

Doing a face reveal for stans is the equivalent of seeing a movie made of your favourite book. The movie never measures up. You always have a picture in your head of how the main character will look and any differences feel very strange. So stans are struggling to reconcile the mental image they have of him with his true image. It doesn’t excuse fans being assholes but yeah.

Honestly this the perfect example of how the internet is based around pretty culture. If you are not conventual attractive the internet goes into making fun of you so fast. I completely agree with everything you said about how it's utterly nasty how people are reacting to Dream's face reveal.

"Bullying people for their appearance is justified if they're a bad person"
Every regular nice person who shares Dream's physical features: 😐😐😐

i genuinely think the hate train of dream's looks consists of 2-3 camps:
1. shallow/mentally underdeveloped preteens upset with how dream's face doesnt fit their made up dream face
2. people who are tired of dream stans (especially on twitter) and hopped on the train to make fun of the stans alongside the creator that did nothing about the stans' toxicity
3. twitter users coming along just bc its funny

I honestly feel bad, he looks fine. People wouldn’t have had this reaction if he had always shown his face but since he didn’t fans started to build their own ridiculous expectations and expected that he’d look like a supermodel.
Edit: y’all I’m not trying to defend him for being racist, I’m saying I feel bad about people being so fixed on others appearances, also I hadn’t heard about him being racist until I watched this video so I’m sorry if it comes off as me blindly defending him, I commented this the second I got the notification so I hadn’t even gotten to that part of the video yet. I don’t even watch dream anyways.

I didn't know about this man's existence until this face reveal mess... But I definitely felt bad for him because I was like "he's literally normal?". Like they literally were acting like he's an ogre or something... Also his fans really did put the bar very high!
I'm glad you're showing your face again, your avatar is hella cute too! ❤️ Thank you for this video! People don't know what normal people look like nowadays 💀💀💀

HEYEYEYEYEYEYYY!! SO GLAD OT BE BACKKK!! I missed you all so much!! I had a lot of funn making this video, I just know the comments are gonna be spicy for this one lol. What are some topics I should talk on for next week?? Please let me know!

(also small note: any allegations against dream that was not on the first day of his face reveal will be mentioned in this video because of the video being filmed the day of the face reveal and not after when all the allegations came out, please be understanding that I am not an AI or time traveler!) thank you all for your love and support! <3 please remember to keep it nice and respectful in the comments :)

This is so weird to me. Dream IS conventionally attractive by most standards. He doesn't look like a Viking, bodybuilder or supermodel - but why would he? He's quite young & is a gamer/ YouTuber. He's not someone who's working on her appearance all day long. Tbh if someone is shaming this thin WM, who has every type of privilege imaginable.. they've got a lot to learn about the world

I agree 100% that we are conditioned to expect everyone we encounter to look like models all of the time. A few years ago I went to the beach for the first time in several years and honestly got so anxious leading up to it because I was expecting everyone to have abs and perfect hair. No joke. I was so worried because I thought I was going to be the only one that didn’t meet those standards. I got there and was genuinely shocked when I saw that everyone was normal… it was a trippy experience

Another gamer that for a long time didn’t use facecam is RTGame, but his face reveal was super well received and everyone was super nice about it. He has openly expressed insecurity about his looks, especially his teeth, and everyone has been extremely welcoming and respectful since he decided to be a bit more open with his audience.

The reason I bring this up, is because I think target audience and demographic plays a HUGE roll into the reception of a face reveal. Daniel from RTGame isn’t amazingly attractive, he is an average white guy just like Dream. But the difference is that Dream has a larger, younger, more shallow and immature audience. His audience is also much more reactionary and toxic as we have seen with doxing and whatnot. So honestly, the reaction to his face reveal is unsurprising given the audience Dream has curated. In some ways, it is his own fault. Yeah, twitter took it and ran, but it is because Dream has created such a negative community so he has many people that hate him. Just my two cents on the matter.

This is the first time the internet has genuinely grossed me out. People are so vile. People get too comfortable knowing that they're behind screens and untouchable.

I don’t even watch dream but it’s upsetting that people aren’t treating him like a human :/

Edit: I just saw the part where Salem was talking about keeping it civil, can we stop the fighting in the comments? Or if it’s needed, can we do it in a civil way?

The part where you mentioned to delete tiktok, ground yourself in reality; that's exactly what I did a few months ago. I realised that tiktok was hurting my mental health so bad. So bad to the point where it was warping my opinions on a lot of things. I wasn't my own person, my opinions, my vocabulary, even my personality was being shaped by that app. So then I deleted it. Haven't touched it since March. I'm much happier. I'm not wasting my days on Tiktok anymore for hours on end. I've found things, better, more productive things to spend my free time in. Hell, I've learned how to crochet, I redecorated my room, I'm taking care of myself more, I'm getting more work done. Tiktok is literally the devil. And deleting it has done so much for me.
