Hey guys FatBuddyCat here! Tonight I take you through a super clean installation of the EC Carburetors Wildcat WC22. This slide carburetor is professionally tuned for 212 performance motors and those who are looking to have more fun and less worry. That bike is really coming along. EC did a great job with carb and branding. Would like to use that manifold but my engine is at too much of an angle in my frame for it to work I believe. Thanks for sharing..

( commenting before I watch the video ) I have been on the fence about buy this carb for my wildcat 223 for when I go full deletion mode. Because I have TC-motor racing (knockoff carb) laying around that has been just great pretty much right out the box on a 212 full bolt on including mod2 cam . While I do have one of these wildcat carbs on my 228 Tillotson ( still needs some tweaking ) wonder if it was worth the buy .... now back to the video lol

Man I just got mine and like another guy said it bogged like crazy. Way lean everywhere. It got a lot better when drilled the main 105 jet to 120 but now it's a bit rich up top. I messed with low speed air adjustment and the needle position which was already in the richest/highest position but still have some lean spots which a bigger pilot should remedy. All I have is a mild build cs grind cam ported head and the other necessities. Had to order main jets and the pilot jets which were ridiculously hard to find which the super cheap vm22 knockoffs are notorious for. For a custom casting it's a bit disappointing coming from EC and seems it's actually not any better than the cheapest of the cheap vm22 but with their blueprinting that I will have to mostly redo anyway. The exception being their better choke knob. To top it off, the alignment on the adapter was wayyy off and took quite a bit of massaging to get smooth transitions on both sides. If I had to do it again I'd get the Nibbi PE26 flanged carb with EC short manifold adapter all for the same price. Sorry for the rant, I'm just hoping this info is useful to someone but I'm glad it worked out for you!

Hey FBC, what size fuel line are you using? I ordered 1/4" for my project. I'm looking at yours and now I think I may have gotten the wrong size.

I could never get my Wildcat carb to run good it bogs when you gun it. Tried different needle positions and nothing worked. Second one they sent me and same issue. 😞
