As a United fan I can completely relate and understand the pain of the Everton fans.

The media only ever bothered covering our protests when it got the game against Liverpool called off, and they painted us as hooligans.

We’ve spent nearly 18 years protesting and finally the club is up for sale. Evertonians, hang in there ❤️💙

I'm a Liverpool fan, and while some fans would love to see a rival relegated, I don't. This is so depressing, and It would be like losing a sibling if Everton got relegated. When it happens, I hope that they get one year in the Championship and they come back to the Premier League Stronger than ever and compete with the big boys for spots in Europe. I hope a Great Escape comes this year. If Liverpool has to lose to keep Everton in the Premier League, it will be worth it.

I live in the USA, I like soccer a lot. At the gym I used to go to, forget the year, Everton was over to play a friendly or two in the US and one being against the Philadelphia Union. One of the player stopped me because I had on a shirt of my beloved Dallas Cowboys. As it turned out a few if the players in Everton loved the Cowboys as well. At that time I was a serious tennis player and they invited me to work out with the club. It was a great 3 days and I always wish them well and root for them.

As a Villa fan I've seen my club go through this and I'd just like to say to you Everton fans that it isn't the end of the world, clubs like ours don't cease to exist. The championship was far more enjoyable than the 6 seasons of flirting with relegation that preceded it.

Any football club doesn’t deserve to be run like this. I’m no Everton fan but I’m a fan of football and these fans spend their hard earned money to go watch them play and it’s emotionally draining watching shite week in and week out because people in charge don’t even know the names of the players on the pitch.

Only way it’ll be fixed is the owner selling the club because the recruitment strategy is abysmal. Every single player they’ve signed bar a few exceptions have either been sold to them because they weren’t good enough or their club was performing poorly
