Headed south to one of my favorite breaks to surf and film. Conditions were great and clean with 3ft sets wrapping the point. Also found a barreling left slab and filmed some of the locals trying to make it.

Surfed here the first time in 1980 as a 17 yo grommet. Beautiful clean barrels. The onshore picked up and we walked 50 m over to the back beach and it was offshore. Unreal!

Surfed there in 1976 ( 16 year old long haired git) on my 6.2 Mcoy roundtail . Saw Michael Peterson first time in person surf . He was the man then . No doubt .

i"m a fairly newby n just learning to fly the mavic 2 drone, was wondering if you use ND or polarising filters on your drone? and also i've been trying to shoot some surf footage and not get too close to the surfers in the water n annoy them...any advice ? would be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance

Got way more barreled than any of these so called surfers back in the 70s here sad to see what it has become taken over by these young kooks trying to brazo surfers so sad. I will reclaim my land out there one day and take off on the deepest barrel ever soon …. Just need to get my back right. Only surfer with res[ect
