New enchantment soon in Minecraft

We could be getting a new enchantment soon in Minecraft. Each armor piece has a unique enchantment, expect for the chestplate. I think Mojang wants each piece of armor to have a unique enchantment, since they switched swift sneak from boots to leggings. We might get a new enchantment for the chestplate in the next update.

I mean it make sense that the leggings have swift sneak since you're often using your legs to sneak around. I mean your feet is not the main thing carrying the momentum

I'd say the enchant for the chestplate would be "blocking". blocking 1 would make to where if you got hit, theres a 5% of you Not taking any damage. blocking 2 would be 10% chance and blocking 3 with a 15% chance of negating the damage.

For me they could do what mods do for ages, health boost to chestplate increacing your hearts, just that.

It could be a Recoil enchantment. Melee weapo s hitting you will cause a knockback recoil to your opponent. It could theoretically split the knockback between you and your opponent, and different tiers could aplit it differently.

Swift sneak does make more sense on the boots, but depth strider would make more sense on the leggings

Nah it will probably be like something like steel chest 1.2.3 and last breath 1 that means that if your hp below 10 hearts you get 10/20/30% dmg less and the other is like if your below 5 hp you get 20% more hit speed

they chaged it because sneaking in the knees, when i injured my knees i got slowers but learned to walk faster without it hurting which was perfect for sneaking. even when I'm not trying so i definetly makes more sense.

I think as a change thorns should be a chest plate unique enchantment. It just makes sense to me idky. Plus it is the one with most durability, thorns is very underrated in PvP and pve. It would be quite good if they revamp it.
