They should add a big spider mini-boss (similar to elder guardians in ocean monuments) to the central room of mineshafts. This would not only update the structure slightly, but also make bane of arthropods somewhat considerable.

My brain admits mending is best, but my heart longs for Infinity.

Piercing returns the arrow if it goes through less mobs than its level. This allows mid-game players to get weakness tipped arrows once and never need to make/buy more again. They can repeatedly use the same arrow to cure as many villagers as they can

I love that little part of the world Buster made. Toycat, you should build in that same area, it made the world feel a little more alive. Great job you three!

If you get a librarian villager that sells infinity you'll have infinite infinity bows and makes it better than mending bows and you can horde arrows

Only Toycat can release a Minecraft video about enchanting that's 24 minutes long in 2023, and have me watch it in one sitting.

Something that wasn't covered was that Shears can have Efficiency and Silk Touch. I use the Silk Touch while I'm bonemealing Coral and Sea Grass

To make bane of arthropods useful, there should be a queen silverfish mini boss to guard the stronghold portal

Can I just say I absolutely love the recent bit you've been doing trying to rhyme as much as you can

Piercing is good for ammo conservation too, because you can pick up the arrows that went through enemies.

Minecraft noob here, this was the single most interestingly informative video I've seen, made my first enchantment table today and managed to get a fishing rod with luck of sea lll and unbreaking lll. Now I'm reeling in so many enchanted books. Great video thanks :)

This is great! I wish I'd seen something like this earlier... I did so much research to create/understand my own guide, which I'm pleased to say I got to the same conclusion as you. Great vid. And thanks @Buster Sharp, good job! 🎉

Good video but i would have appreciated a lil section at the end about toycats opinion on the best gear or fully enchanted stuff. And they he could’ve explained the max amount of enchantments as well

Impailing is also used for Tridents in Trident killers on Bedrock. So if you have mob farms you really need it.

I always get infinity on my bow, haha. Not because I’m a bad shot but I use it a lot and waste a bunch of them doing silly things. It also doesn’t break very fast. I go down into the lava or void faster than my bow can break and I have a whole bunch of infinity ones from fishing :)

One added bonus to the "Piercing" enchantment is that if you shoot at a single mob, you can then get your arrow back if it hits a wall behind said mob. It's basically infinity and power, but for crossbows (but you need to pick the ammo back up).

I'm still pretty new at playing Minecraft, so I had no idea how people got tools and gear with so many enchantments, I thought for some reason that books worked the same as the table with one enchantment given and if you want more, you have to combine your stuff.
Really nice to learn that I can slap as many books on my stuff as I want, as many as it can hold (aside from the incompatible ones, ofc).
I also only just yesterday learned/realized that I could use blank books to store useful enchantments for later (like Piercing IV) to also reset the enchantment table for other tools if I don't like the enchantments that I currently see.
Then again, I could also reset the table by enchanting a stone axe maybe, instead of iron or diamond, idk, I'm still new at this lol
When I learned about resetting villagers for the right enchanted books and keeping a trading hall of books, I popped off and really want to make one myself.
I have never tried to trap anything in a boat before, the process of grabbing a villager and getting it to your base and then trapping them in your hall seems like it's not completely easy.
Especially since my base in my newest world is in a valley, which I think would make a really cool village, but getting villagers in there is gonna be hard. Coz they're kinda far away, either at the top of mountains or across rivers, but just the hills of my valley itself are gonna be a pain, I think.
Always nice to see a guide for enchantments, in any case. :)
