Great video, mate. My friends all chipped in to get me the 99 Classics for my birthday after I geeked out over your review of them, and I couldn't be happier with how great they sound. I especially like them for listening to live albums and shows because their super detailed hi-fi sound really brings out a lot of the subtleties that most other headphones miss.

Good headphones are a must.If you do your homework and take care of your gear they can last you a decade or longer.

Did you account for break-in period? because headphones will vary a good bit more until break-in, and even identical headphones will sound slightly different though anyway.

Well, apart from the level difference, i'd much rather attribute the difference to the wear-in the maple ones already have, as opposed to the straight-outta-the-box Neos, rather than the wood vs. ABS cup material...

It's interesting to hear that you find the sound quality relatively equal, I prefer the look of the black ones as well. :) Lol at the headphone toss at 3:30! The ending was a good look, maybe this will start a new trend? #doubleheadphones
