REVIT Mangrove Gloves Review

We can’t help but feel Rev’it are being somewhat modest with their description of the Mangrove glove - this self-proclaimed ‘entry-level’ adventure offering is packed so full of features, that the only thing entry-level about it is the extremely attractive price point. Designed for those looking to expand their horizons on-or-off road, the Mangrove glove is a fantastic, low-cost warm-weather option for the adventurous.

Rode 250miles at the weekend in these in low 20s temperatures and found them really nicely balanced for protection and feel, whilst allowing good airflow whilst still providing enough warmth. I largely forgot I was wearing them until after dark when the heated grips were required. Much better than the Volcano's for fit and whilst the internal stitching is still tight at the end of the thumbs for me, for the fingers it is much better. Getting caught in light showers has not proved a problem either where the lining has kept them dry.

You should have more detail shots including the inside of the glove, around the wrist. The inside quality where they touch the skin is also very important for comfort. I have a pair of Sidi gloves that become very itchy in higher temperatures.

Nice video! How would you say these compare to the Sand gloves? How are they different?

Had an eye on those but ended up with chevron 3's instead, bought them on sale for 68£, for what I'm riding I think more protection is needed, I ride on the streets, I don't do adventure riding, but I think these gloves has better ventilation, and lighter, if I didn't like the chevron I'll return them and I might get the mangrove or velocity

They’re very much entry level material and design wise, but they’re fine for poor king around

Just got a pair and they are flipping snug, so snug i have only used them on my Fatboy and no on the GSA
