Dark Rooms - 'I Get Overwhelmed' - IDK Sessions

13/11/2016 Dark Rooms performs "I Get Overwhelmed" at Stedelijk Museum Zwolle.

In de afgelopen periode waren we te gast in het Stedelijk museum te Zwolle. Tijdens de tentoonstelling 'Leven met aandacht’ namen wij deze bijzondere sessies op met Dark Rooms.

Mooi detail op de achtergrond is werk te zien van de Zwolse kunstenaar Jan-Pieter Gootjes 'Silentium’ gebaseerd op een compositie van Arvo Pärt (dit tot bekoren van de bandleider Daniel Hart van Dark Rooms)

De tentoonstelling 'Leven met aandacht’ is nog te zien t/m 5 februari.

I think being able to appreciate this song and movie is truly a gift. I tried to show it to my friend and got zero response but for me; I can sink when I listen to this, and suddenly things make sense. Things are still not okay or fair but they make sense. Anyone else agree?

This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written/recorded, and honestly I had no idea the artist could pull it off live. Kudos to him/them. The film is equally beautiful, if you haven't seen it. The world would be a better place if more people watched and listened to things like this, rather than Marvel films and K-Pop.
