Tips for ASHP Midyear | 29 Different Perspectives

Thinking about post-graduate training in pharmacy like a residency or fellowship? Have you ever wondered if doing that extra training is right for you or even worth it? If so, then this video series is for you!

In this video, I traveled to the Vizient and ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting in December 2017 to capture tips and advice for individuals, mainly P4s, that plan on attending the ASHP Midyear for securing a post-graduate position. To give a diversity of perspectives, the individuals being interviewed range from P3 students to senior pharmacy directors.

What's your advice for student going who are P2s and P3s? Should they still try to network with residency programs and directors, or would they be seen as taking up someone else's time, like a P4 student's? Should they try to attend sessions or other things instead?
